Meet your teacher —

Lindsay Monal

Lindsay Monal (she/her) is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, and Sound Meditation Facilitator passionate about helping people cultivate more compassionate, restful, and joyful lives.

She grew up in a loud, Latino household, as the daughter of Cuban and Colombian immigrants, where she learned to communicate through music, movement, and passionate self expression.

When she began practicing yoga she found the stillness and silence as a needed respite for her overstimulated nervous system. She was quickly drawn to the meditative aspects of the practice and regularly sought out restorative, yin, yoga nidra, and sound meditation classes and workshops as a way to calm down, and cultivate a state of healing in her body, mind, and relationships.

Today, Lindsay works as a full time yoga, mediation, and sound healing teacher, hosting regular classes, trainings, and international retreats. She has performed sound for the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University, spoken at the United Nations, led corporate classes for Audible, Casper, Beautycounter, and Athleta, and has been featured as a yoga and meditation expert on Pix 11 News, and in publications including Shape Magazine, Forbes, Huffpost, and Travel + Leisure.

Through a commitment to making the practice of meditation and yoga as accessible as possible, Lindsay has found that the resonating frequencies of crystal singing bowls have allowed even the most skeptical beginners the ability to quickly experience the benefits of meditation.

She feels that sound and vibration will be the medicine of the future, and believes in its power to help people of any age, ability, and state of health to find moments of rest, relaxation, and healing.

What is sound healing?

Sound healing uses musical instruments, singing, and elements of guided meditation to support our overall health and wellbeing.

Sound healing can be used as a personal healing tool, or can be shared with others, individually, or in group settings called sound baths.

In a sound bath, a trained practitioner will play a variety of instruments often including Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, drums, tuning forks, chimes, or bells to help students find a meditative state.
